 Yemeni army forces on Wednesday, found a naval mine placed by the Iran-backed Houthi coupist militia near the international corridor, west of Hajjah province in the northwest of the Yemen.

Earlier, the Ministry of Defense website reported that the Houthi rebels placed anothor naval mine, west of Baklan island of Midi district, adding that the engineering teams of the Fifth Military Region with the assistance of experts from the Arab Coalition forces, removed the naval mine and destroyed it.

The Navy Maritime Forces of the 5th Military Region continue their routine patrol on the coasts of Hajjah province and its adjacent islands to secure them from the Houthi mines and IEDs that pose a threat to the international shipping line in the Red Sea.
