Houthi artillery units intensified on Thursday, its shelling of the joint forces positions in al-Duraihimi district, south of Hodeidah governorate in defiance of the U.N.-brokered truce in the province.
Al-Amalika Media Center quoted military field sources as saying that the Iran-backed Houthi coupist militia rained down the locations of the joint forces in the east of al-Duraihimi with heavy mortar rounds.
The same sources added that the pro-Iran rebels also used medium and heavy weapons to target several positions of the joint forces in al-Duraihimi on the same day.
Houthi militia did not abide by the UN-mediated ceasefire since its entry into effect. All the liberated areas of Hodeidah governorate are under daily bombardment amid international silence.
