Heavy gun battles continue on most of al-Dhale fronts, between the southern forces and the Iranian-backed Houthi putschist militia.
The Media Centre of Al-Dhale reported on Monday that fierce armed clashes broke out in al-Batar area in the western part of Qataba district in the north of al-Dhale following a Houthi attempt to create new outposts in the vicinity of the confrontation zone.
The same source added that during the past few days, the southern forces managed to move the battlefield towards the eastern borders of the strategic district of al-Hasha with a view to proactively facilitating its liberation from the grip of the Houthi militia, as part of the military operation to liberate the whole province.
Military field sources said on Sunday that the pro-Iran militia tried to sneak into the liberated locations in Qataba and in the western side of Morais district in a bid to gain lost ground, adding that many Houthi fighters were killed and injured in the failed attack.
