The Iran-backed Houthi terrorist militias used medium and heavy artillery rounds and missiles, to shell the locations under the control of the joint forces in al-Duraihimi district of Hodeidah governorate.

Military field sources reported that the pro-Iran militants fired heavy mortar rounds at the positions of the joint forces, in addition to using sniper rifles in the attacks.

The Houthis intensified their violations of the U.N.-mediated ceasefire in Hodeidah from the first day of its entry into effect last year.
