 The Oxfam office and hospital were subjected to a bomb attack in al-Dhale on Tuesday, the Media Centre of al-Dhale front reported.

The sound of the explosion, that hit the unoccupied Oxfam office, was heard in different parts of the city, the same source added.

Oxfam has suspended all staff movements and operations in the area and advised staff to stay home, following terrorist attacks against international organisations working in the province, including Oxfam’s office which was hit by two RPGs (rocket-propelled grenades) in the early hours of Sunday.

Tuesday’s attack used an improvised explosive device (IED) planted by unknown men, nobody was injured, Oxfam said.

According to Oxfam, the suspension of operations in Al Dhale will affect around 1,359 households who would have benefited from cash assistance and 5,000 people who would have benefited from infrastructure projects, as well as 485 people due to undertake vocational training activities.
