Noura Almotairi the Arab novelist, researcher and writer for Al Bayan and Okaz newspapers, on Friday, was selected as one of sixteen Arab Creative Women who played vital roles on the Arab scene.
Almotairi was honoured by the Supreme Council for Culture in Egypt which sponsored the event that was held in Cairo- Egypt from the 4-6th December 19.
Noura Almotairi, through her unique writing, is one of the Arab journalists who play a prominent role in supporting the just southern cause. She is seen as an advocate for the people of the South in obtaining their legitimate rights, including the right of the South to self-determination.
The forum, which organizes a variety of lectures, seminars, concerts and visits to cultural and archaeological sites, on Thursday evening received Almotairi where she presented her seminar. At the event, she talked about a new method in writing that is presented for the first time, called ‘Political Mythology’.
Almotairi’s ‘Political Mythology’, is a method of writing that steers away from the traditional ways of writing. Articles are presented in a new style that draws the attention of the simple reader.
The writer uses a method where she converts rigidly structured articles into narrative style articles.
Almotairi noticed that reader numbers increase when certain political articles were written in easier to read essays that apply characteristics which are used for writing novels.
The observation was recorded and based on professional monitoring mechanisms, both electronic and direct on social media.
It is worth mentioning that Noura Almorairi is a well-known figure in the south and has a vast block of followers due to her simple attractive writing on the southern issue.
