The Iran-backed Houthi terrorist militia targeted on Saturday, the observation posts established in the Red Sea port of Hodeidah under the supervision of the chief of the UN ceasefire monitoring mission, retired Gen. Abhijit Guha.
Military field sources reported the Houthi rebels stationed in Hodeidah city used light and medium weapons to directly target the first and fifth control points in City Max of Sana'a Street in the east of Hodeidah city and in al-Mandhar neighborhood, south of Hodeidah city.
The Houthis intensified the shelling after having reinforced their troops on all fronts and entered heavy weapons under the cover of the humanitarian truce, al-Amalika Media Centre reported.
The pro-Iran Houthi militants target the military and civilian areas of Hodeidah governorate on a daily basis in a bid to eliminate the U.N.-brokered peace process in the province.
