Sources revealed in Aden this morning that news circulating in the city about provocative attempts by the Muslim Brotherhood (Islah Party) to ignite the situation militarily in the city.

The news came after hours of  President Abdel Rabbo M.Hadi’s announcement of appointing Ali Almaqdishi, to replace Maj Mahmood Alsubaihi, who is still captured by the Houthi militias.

The source, exclusively to Aden Press, pointed that those decisions are part of the Islah party’s plan to ignite the situation in Aden.

Taiz governorate is facing a similar situation, where the Islah supporting militias are clashing with the resistance forces and the 35th Armoured Brigade.

The sources speculated that those moves are aimed to lighten the pressure on the Houthi militias in Hodaidah and Demth, who are facing the Southern forces, represented by the Amaliqa and the Security Belt.

On the situation in Aden, the sources said that there are sightings of armoured vehicles carrying the Yemeni Unity flag, the first of it’s kind since the city was liberated from the Houthi militias.

The sources believe that these moves are under the guidance of the Yemeni Vice President General Ali Mohsen al-Ahmar. In a meeting a few days ago in Marib, he ordered to raise the flag of United Yemen by force in various districts including the southern governorates.

The source added that those moves are a threat of new military confrontations similar to the events of January earlier this year.
