 The southern joint forces foiled on Saturday infiltration attempt carried out by the pro-Iran militants into al-Fakher region in the north west of Qataba of al-Dhale province.

Military field sources said that the southern joint forces managed to drive back the Houthi attack, inflicting heavy human and material losses on them, adding that two southern fighters were injured in the battles.

Heavy gun battles erupted on Friday on Torsa front, west of al-Azareq in al-Dhale governorate, between the southern forces and the Pro-Iran Houthi militia following a Houthi attempt to sneak into the southern positions.

On Thursday, a desperate infiltration carried out by the pro-Iran militants on military positions under the control of the southern resistance in a bid to restore lost grounds, in the newly-liberated areas in the north west of Qataba in al-Dhale province, in particular in al-Fakher region.

It's worth mentioning that the Houthi militia mobilized a large number of fighters and sent more military reinforcements to al-Dhale fronts, especially the areas of Muqilan and Baher.
