Heavy gun battles erupted on Friday on Torsa front, west of al-Azareq in al-Dhale governorate, between the southern forces and the Pro-Iran Houthi militia.

Military field sources said that the armed clashes broke out when the Iran-backed Houthi putschist militia launched an infiltration attempt into the locations under the control of the southern forces in Torsa. The same sources added that the pro-Iran rebels were lured and eliminated by the southern forces.

On Thursday, a desperate infiltration carried out by the pro-Iran militants on military positions under the control of the southern resistance in a bid to restore lost grounds, in the newly-liberated areas in the north west of Qataba in al-Dhale province, in particular in al-Fakher region.

It's worth mentioning that the Houthi militia mobilized a large number of fighters and sent more military reinforcements to al-Dhale fronts, especially the areas of Muqilan and Baher.
