 The Arab Coalition said on Monday evening, that the coalition joint forces managed to intercept and shoot down an enemy drone in the airspace of the Republic of Yemen over Saada province, Saudi Press Agency reported.

Spokesman of the Coalition, Colonel Al-Maliki said that the drone was launched by the Iranian-backed Houthi terrorist militia from Sana'a towards the Kingdom.

Colonel Al-Maliki explained that the coalition takes all operational procedures and best practices of engagement rules to deal with such terrorist acts to protect civilians and civilian objects.

"These miserable and desperate attempts that are in clear violation of international humanitarian law and its customary rules."  Al-Maliki added.

He noted that the repeated terrorist attempts reflect desperation of the terrorist militia and losses in their terrorist elements and equipment and emphasizes the criminality of Iran's agents in the region and threatening of regional and international security.
