 The sixth meeting of the Redeployment Coordination Committee (RCC) was held on board a U.N.-chartered ship off Yemen's port city of Hodeidah on Sunday morning.

The meeting discussed operating joint operations center, activating the truce mechanism and deploying observation posts on Hodeidah fronts for strengthening the ceasefire and preventing escalation as approved at the previous meeting.

The agenda of the first day discussed strengthening the ceasefire and initiating the operations of the joint operations center.

The second day's agenda will include discussing mechanisms and areas of disengagement, mechanisms and areas of deployment of joint observation posts, and the technical aspects of the UN Special Envoy's proposal to Yemen.

Liaison officers continue to operate and manage the de-escalation mechanism and strengthen the ceasefire from the Joint Operations Center on the ship.
