 The delegation of the Southern Transitional Council (STC) arrived in the Saudi city of Jeddah on Tuesday, to resume the dialogue with the Yemeni government, called for by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The STC delegation is headed by the president of the Council, Aidroos Al-Zubaidi and members of the STC Presidency, Dr. Nasser Al-Khabji, Ali Abdullah Al-Katheri, Abdul Rahman al-Yafei, Eng. Adnan Elkaf and Mohammed Al Ghaithi.

Al-Zubaidi welcomed on Monday, the UN efforts to reach a comprehensive political solution to the crisis in Yemen in general and the South in particular.

He reaffirmed the STC readiness to actively and constructively participate in the Saudi-mediated talks to end the crisis and solve the southern issue.

He also stressed the STC commitment to the Kingdom’s call for dialogue that had been refereed by the Security Council, adding that the STC acted out of its responsibility towards peace and stability in the region.
