On Thursday the Security Belt Forces took control of the city of Jaar in Abyan governorate and advanced towards Zanzibar, the capital of Abyan.
Field reports confirmed the withdrawal of dozens of military vehicles belonging to the Islah Party Forces which is part of the Yemeni army, from Dovs, Zanzibar and Shaqra in Abyan governorate.
The Security Belt Forces advance in Abyan coincides with the announcement of their control over the entire directorates of Aden province and securing their entrances while combing operations continue in the city.
Third Brigade Forces that supporting the Amaliqa Giant Forces arrived at the outskirts of Aden from the west side, coming from the west coast, to participate in securing the city and stabilizing it.
Major reinforcements have also arrived in Aden, coming from several areas, while local sources said the troops are loaded with all kinds of weapons, armoured vehicles and military crews.
Security sources in Aden said they had arrested a number of those involved in the recent events in the city, whom they described as "sleeper cells and rioters".
The sources added that the security belt forces dealt with the outlaws, especially after citizens complained about thefts of their property.
The support security belt forces declared a 72-hour state of emergency to hand over those involved in recent events to avoid being held accountable.
