The southern parliamentary bloc called on the President of the Republic, Abed Rabbo Mansour Hadi, and all political forces to deal with the Southern Transitional Council and the components of the peaceful Southern Movement (Hirak) as influential actors on the political scene and as allied forces in confronting the Houthi-Iranian putschist project.
In its statement issued in Aden, the southern parliamentary bloc stressed the need to assess both objective and subjective reasons that led to the escalation and even to armed clashes between two key pro-legitimacy partners in the face the Houthi-Iranian putschist project.
The statement also called for fundamentally addressing address the southern issue with its historical backgrounds and political and national dimensions, away from conspiracy theory.
The southern parliamentary bloc held the government legally and morally responsible for dealing with the continuing crises involving necessary services in the southern governorates, in particular food supply, electricity, medicine, medical treatment for members of the resistance, water, sanitation, fighting terrorism, activating judicial, prosecutorial and security sectors and other issues that relate directly to the lives of people.
