The Iran-backed Houthi putschist militia scaled up its operations by sending more military reinforcements to al-Tuhita district and other regions of Hodeidah, in defiance of the U.N.-brokered ceasefire in the province and the Stockholm agreements signed last December.

Military field sources reported that the pro-Iran militants sent new military reinforcements, including hundreds of fighters along with armored vehicles and other military equipment.

Meanwhile, the positions of the joint forces in the northern side of al-Tuhita were subjected to heavy artillery shelling by the pro-Iran militants.
