 A number of pro-Iran militants were killed, including a senior Houthi field commander in a series of air raids launched by the Arab Coalition on several military sites in Yemen's Houthi-held provinces.

Sky News Arabia reported on Wednesday, that the airstrikes targeted Houthi positions and gatherings in the governorates of al-Dhale, Saada and Amran.

Local sources said that the Coalition aircraft pounded Houthi targets in Qataba in the north of al-Dhale. The air raids also hit Houthi barracks in Soufian district of Amran governorate.

The Coalition targeted a military centre in the Houthi stronghold of Saada where a number of pro-Iran militants were killed including a senior Houthi field commander in al-Ashash area of Kitaf district, local sources added.
