Two children were injured, one of them seriously, when the pro-Iran Houthi militants fired intensively heavy mortar shells in the direction of the people's homes in al-Tuhita district, south Hodeidah governorate.
Local sources said that the two victims, Zakaria Abdullah Jaber (6Y) and Hiam Badr Ahmed (12Y) were immediately taken to field hospital in al-Tuhita for receiving first aid then transferred to al-Khokha hospital for necessary medical treatment.
Several houses were severely damaged in the indiscriminate shelling launched by the Iran-backed Houthi terrorist militia in Hays, the same sources added.
The number of civilian casualties of Houthi shelling and landmines, continue to increase significantly on the West Coast, in particular in Hodeidah where most of the victims are children.
