Engineering teams of the joint forces dismantled large quantities of landmines and improvised explosive devices (IEDs) planted by the Houthi militias in various areas and districts of Hodeidah governorate, West Yemen.

Al-Amalika media center reported on Monday that the engineering teams managed to remove six hundreds landmines and IEDs planted by the pro-Iran Houthi coupist militias in the area of Ghlifiqa of al-Duraihimi district, south Hodeidah.

The engineering teams have previously cleared several regions of thousands of landmines, improvised explosive devices and unexploded shells, including residential neighborhoods, villages, roads, markets, beaches and farms on the West Coast, planted by the Houthis in a tricky way to claim the lives of innocent people.

The Houthi laid-mines have already killed hundreds of Yemenis and caused deformation and amputation of thousands of people.
