The Iran-backed Houthi terrorist militias unleashed on Wednesday, a barrage of heavy artillery and rockets shelling into several residential neighborhoods of al-Tuhita district, south of Hodeidah.
Local sources said that the Houthi shelling severely damaged a number of houses and farms, adding that the pro-Iran militants also targeted the houses in al-Tuhita with heavy machine guns, causing a state of fear and panic among the inhabitants.
The Houthi rebels also indiscriminately opened heavy fire at the passers-by on the roads of al-Faza area
On the same track, the Houthi artillery units shelled different locations under the control of al-Amalika brigades on the outskirts of al-Tuhita, using 120mm mortar bombs, rockets and artillery rounds.
Military field sources reported that since the U.N-brokered ceasefire came into force, the pro-Iran militia unprecedentedly intensified their infiltration attempts, in particular into al-Jabaliya area, in a bid to cut the roads that link the southern districts of Hodeidah and to regain lost ground.
